Food & Drink is being built into the full Capital Daily experience — guides we re-walk before we publish, not roundups we repost. Our rule for this section is simple: if we haven’t sat at the table recently, we don’t send you to it.
While the kitchen’s closed here, the three doors below are open — and every one of them holds up.
Our sister publication
Where to eat in Victoria, BC — openings, closings, and the rooms worth your appetite, covered meal by meal since 2019. Their motto is ours too: don’t waste a meal.

What happened to the patio guide?
We pulled it. A living guide is only worth keeping if every entry survives a re-walk, and ours was due for one — so it’s off the site until each patio has been sat at again, plate by plate. That’s the standard for everything that returns here.
Know a room we should be at when this section reopens? Tell us where you’re eating.
