For those wanting to check out a great online exhibition by the Royal BC Museum, the museum has put online more than 16,000 historical images by BC Indigenous communities which were taken between the late 1800s and 1970. For more information, click here
TEENY TINY GARDEN TOUR
The Teeny Tiny Garden Tour Virtual Edition is open until July 31st and allows viewers to enjoy a virtual glimpse into some of Victoria’s best backyard gems, with a collection of local garden owners opening their gates to showcase their unique gardens! RALLY FOR THE SOUTHERN RESIDENT ORCAS
A rally to help raise awareness for the plight of Southern Resident Orcas will be held at the Legislature on Friday. NORTH ISLAND COLLEGE’S 3-HOUR WRITING CONTEST
In a unique writing contest, writers will have to find a prompt hidden in a video before coming up with a story over a three hour period between 6-9pm. A $100 prize will be given to the winner of the competition. Registrations must be made before the day. For more information click here
