The music festival in Phillips Brewing and Malting Co.’s backyard parking lot returns for another summer of exciting performances from beloved and emerging musicians. The festival welcomes performers across many musical genres, with varied lineups catering to different music enthusiasts each day.

The festival is split across two three-day weekends, with Tilt weekend taking place from July 5-7 and Reverb weekend taking place from August 9-11.

July’s Tilt weekend will see concerts headlined by Saint Motel, Jessie Reyez, and Orville Peck with additional performances from Noah Cyrus, Half Moon Run, Flyana Boss, and more.

Reverb weekend in August will see Black Pumas, Earl Sweatshirt, and Jungle headlining the stage with Current Swell, Cautious Clay, Drama, and more rounding out the performances.

Phillips Backyard will, of course, be serving its namesake beers alongside a selection of local food trucks.

Last year, the festival expanded to its two-weekend events and welcomed performers like Peach Pit, Bahamas, Lord Huron, and Fleet Foxes.

Tickets are live now for both the Tilt and Reverb weekends. Passes are available for single days, weekends, or both weekends.

Rifflandia’s Friday lineup features Canadian and international performers

Rifflandia Festival returns from September 13-15, taking place this year at the Matullia Lands at Rock Bay, just across the street from Phillips Backyard, making the area a hub for this year’s music festivals. It was located previously at Royal Athletic Park. The festival, which has been operating since 2008, is among the longest running large music festivals in Western Canada.

The festival’s day one concert will be headlined by Canadian DJ Rezz and will include performances from Ja Rule, Channel Tres, C&C Music Factory, and many more.

Rifflandia’s Saturday lineup will be announced May 9, while its Sunday lineup will be announced May 30.

Last year’s festival hosted a record-breaking number of people with tens of thousands attending and featuring performances from Iggy Pop, Run The Jewels, Paris Hilton, and Diplo.

Tickets are on sale now for the whole three day weekend. A kid’s pass is also available for children from 2-12 years for the weekend.
